Distinguished conductor Dr. Carolyn Watson, who is fastidious, humorous and dedicated to her livelihood as director of orchestra studies at Texas State University, has merited more honors to add to her impressive list of achievements.

She has learned that she is one of the 10 conductors from throughout the world that has been selected to participate in the prestigious international program dubbed the Second Annual Linda and Mitch Hart Institute for Women Conductors at The Dallas Opera.
