Summer fun at the public library

Keep children reading throughout the summer with fun and educational free events at the San Marcos Public Library.
More than 90 events for ages zero to 17 will be held at the library throughout June and July.
A full listing of the library’s summer activities can be found online at www.sanmarcostx.gov/library.
Reading logs are available right now for all ages. Children, teens and adults can track their summer reading for a chance to win prizes. The more you read, the better your chances to win.
Every child who completes a reading log will earn a reading achievement certificate and be invited to the Summer Finale Party on Aug. 1. Children who read throughout the summer go back to school with improved skills and a new enthusiasm for learning.
