Rattlers fall to Lake Travis in thrilling three game series
San Marcos saw their season come to an end last Saturday as the Rattlers fell to Lake Travis in three games, losing to Cavaliers in Game 3 7-0.

I have been part of fitness, running and exercise as long as I can remember. At a younger age it was called “playing,” even when it meant running or riding a bike in a race around the block. Games were almost always associated with running or throwing or climbing something. There were not many of the group that were considered overweight. We were always moving to burn off extra calories.
The San Marcos Rattlers will send six more athletes to continue their careers on the collegiate level. Madelyn Boren, Lexi Carpenter, Nikolas Hall, Exavion Harris, Kevin Morales, Shane Moss and Marley Myers all signed to play their respective sports in college.

Six Rattlers sign to play in college
Six San Marcos High School students took part in a spring signing ceremony on Thursday, May 11.
The Texas State Bobcat softball team fell to Louisiana 4-1 on Friday night in the Sun Belt Tournament. However, the 'Cats had previously beaten Troy 3-0 in the quarterfinals.

Bobcats qualify for National Golf Invitational in Arizona
The Texas State men’s golf team will continue its season after accepting an invitation to play in the inaugural National Golf Invitational May 19-21 at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz. The new postseason collegiate event is presented in partnership with Golfweek.
