Welcome back, Travis

— San Marcos CISD's Travis Elementary took the "Welcome Back to School" message to the streets --literally-- when 17 pickup trucks full of teachers, administrators and support staff paraded through neighborhoods with enthusiatic messages on Friday. Beginning about 9:45 am, the portable pep rally drove through the Regency Mobile Home Park, C.M. Allen Homes and Allenwood Homes before returning to the Travis Elementary parking lot. Principal Niki Konecki said, "Travis is excited about the upcoming new school year, and we want to share that excitement with our students and their families.
