Special honor

— Dr. Steve Stanfield (left) of Texas State Optical in San Marcos receives a “Certificate of Appreciation” from Lions Club International for special services to area Lions Clubs. Stanfield volunteered to help train Lions who will be traveling to Central and South America to help those in need of vision health treatment and eye glasses. Making the presentation is Lions Past District Governor and San Marcos Lions Club member Dr. Bill Daniels.
