Sheriff Tommy Ratliff stands at far left and Deputy Mike Thielen stands at far right. The students completed 12 weeks of study with the Hays County Citizen Sheriff's Academy. Attendees gained a working knowledge of the sheriff's office and how law enforcement operates.
