Citizen Sheriff’s Academy grads

Graduates of the Spring 2009 Citizens Sheriff's Academy include Catherine Kubica of Wimberley, Susan Price of Kyle, Paul Laird of Driftwood, Karen Crowther of Dripping Springs, Bob Sheldon of Dripping Springs, Laurie Gallegos of Kyle, William Cooper of San Marcos, Mary Jane Tatum of Wimberley, Gordon DeWitt of Dripping Springs, Elizabeth Shelton of Buda Jeffery Shelton of Buda. Sheriff Tommy Ratliff stands at far left and Deputy Mike Thielen stands at far right. The students completed 12 weeks of study with the Hays County Citizen Sheriff's Academy. Attendees gained a working knowledge of the sheriff's office and how law enforcement operates.
