Computers for learning

Students from the Gary Job Corps Center’s Computer Support Technician Course have been assisting the Computers for Learning Program since 2004, starting by refurbishing 160 computers that were given to students from Hernandez Middle school. Grande Communications assisted by providing Internet access to each family without current service. To date, more than 2,300 computers have been donated to high school and middle school students in Austin and San Marcos.

LBJ High School in Austin is the recent recipient of over 100 computers donated through Computers for Learning.
