Ambassadors from the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce and the San Marcos Baptist Academy held a ribbon cutting for the academy’s new Nancy and Don Mafrige Fitness Center. The center is a $500,000 facility donated by Nancy and Don Mafrige, both 1955 graduates of SMBA, who reside in Houston. The center houses new weight and fitness equipment as well as athletic offices.
