Four members of the Hays County Sheriff’s Office recently graduated from the Basic Corrections Course held in Caldwell County. The class, a mixture of corrections officers from Hays and Caldwell counties, completed all academic and hands on instruction and successfully passed the exit exam for the 96 hours plus class. They then were eligible to take the TCLEOSE licensing exam, which was conducted at the Hays County Sheriff’s Office. All 13 students passed the exam and received their basic TCLEOSE corrections officer licenses. Hays County Sheriff Tommy Ratliff was on hand for rh event. Members of the Hays County Sheriff’s Office who attended the course were Brad Brooks, Zachary Miller, Brian Taylor and Miranda Supak.
