Mayor Susan Narvaiz recently issued a proclamation for Mental Illness Awareness Week to raise community awareness of the extent and the treatability of mental illnesses. The National Alliance on Mental Illness and Scheib Opportunity Center held special activities during the week, including exhibits of artwork and poetry by clients at City Hall and the library.
