The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently held a groundbreaking service for it’s new Stake Center to be built at 3300 Trail Ridge Pass in the Blanco Vista Subdivision, west of IH-35, exit 210, Yarrington Road. Construction is expected to begin in December and take close to a year. The new building will provide Stake officers for seven wards and two branches: Bastrop, Buda, Kyle, Memorial, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Seguin, San Marcos University and Yorktown.
