Groundbreaking for Stake center

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently held a groundbreaking service for it’s new Stake Center to be built at 3300 Trail Ridge Pass in the Blanco Vista Subdivision, west of IH-35, exit 210, Yarrington Road. Construction is expected to begin in December and take close to a year. The new building will provide Stake officers for seven wards and two branches: Bastrop, Buda, Kyle, Memorial, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Seguin, San Marcos University and Yorktown. These wards and branches will constitute more than 3,800 members. Shown above are Stake 1st Counselor T. Jay Ashford, San Marcos Mayor Susan Narvaiz, Stake President Charles T.
