Soldier stress and excessive taxes

Editor,
I haven’t read or heard the Pentagon’s 2013 statistics, but at the end of 2012 it reported that more uniformed U.S. soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan committed suicide than were killed by their opponents. What does that tell you about moral and belief in the cause?

The truck will be open weekly Thursday through Sunday and after shows at the ampitheater.

College Baseball: What Texas State needs

Texas State head coach Ty Harrington looked at wits’ end Tuesday night.

Harrington, who develops the Bobcats’ defensive game plan and is the team’s defensive instructor, watched his team commit six errors in a 5-4 loss to Rice. Perhaps the biggest kick to Texas State’s ribs was a throwing error by junior pitcher Donnie Hart on a routine sacrifice bunt that gave the Owls just enough space to hold on for a win.
