Twelve batters, three walks and six hits later San Marcos had a snowman on the brand new scoreboard at Rattler Field — in one inning.
San Marcos scored eight runs in the bottom of the third inning on its way to a 11-3 victory over Kerrville-Tivy last Saturday. With the victory, the Rattlers improved to 3-1.
“It was amazing,” San Marcos shortstop David Hamilton said of the third inning. “There was so much enthusiasm in the dugout. We had a good day. We were putting the ball in play with runners in scoring position. Days like today, I love it.”
