No matter how someone chooses to remember Texas States disastrous season, Ricci Woodards team can still end it on a positive note.

Wipe away the Bobcats 36 losses, including 21 setbacks to teams from the Lone Star State, because only two matter now. Beginning this afternoon, Texas State opens play in the double-elimination Western Athletic Conference Tournament.

Thanks to a strong finish, the Bobcats earned the fourth seed as they head to the Lady Techster Softball Complex in Ruston, La. Texas State won three out of its last four conference games, including a doubleheader sweep last Friday at Utah State.
