Aurora C. Espinosa
Aurora C. Espinosa passed peacefully with her family by her side. She was released from her earthly bonds, and escorted by the Angels of our Heavenly Father on July 26, at the golden age of 93. Born Sept. 10, 1919 in San Marcos, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Aurora is preceded in death by her loving parents Francisco and Apolinaria Contreras and sisters Basilisa Rodriguez and Mary Natal.
Aurora was very fond of St. John Catholic Church. She was a member of the Sociedad de la Archicofradia. Aurora was a humanitarian. She would go bargain shopping and buy things like clothes and give to those who didn't have. She would travel to Mexico and give to the unfortunate. She loved to cook and sew. In the kitchen, Aurora loved to make tamales and mole, especially for weddings. Her passion was being in the garden, where her plants and flowers would bloom. Nothing meant more to her than her family, especially the grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren. We thank our Lord for giving her to us for as long as we had her. “We love you!” Your spirit will always be with us.
