Birding with Jerry Hall: Florida trip leaves fine memories

I have some wonderful memories from my recent trip to southwest Florida and the Everglades. I saw a big, fat alligator snoozing on a log, a gopher tortoise eating green grass, a full golden moon over tall royal palms and white sand beaches sprinkled with thousands of seashells.
