Cesar G. Alvarez Sr., 61, of San Marcos, husband of Sylvia Alvarez, died Feb. 11, 2013.
Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 21 from 2 to 7:30 p.m. at Los Angeles Funeral Home followed by a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Mass will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with burial with military honors at 1:15 p.m. in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
