College Football: 2013 Fall Camp Preview
August — and its heat — is upon us and if you’re a fan of college football, you couldn’t be happier. Plus — if you’re reading this — you most likely live in Texas, so heat isn’t a problem.
Throughout the nation, fall camps opened last week and will continue opening this week as team prepare for the upcoming season. Teams, like Texas State, get 25 practices to hone their schemes and figure out their depth charts before their respective season opener.
On Monday, the Bobcats get started at 6 p.m. either inside Bobcat Stadium or on the grass practice fields behind the Bobcat Baseball and Softball Complex. All practices, unless otherwise noted, are open to the public.
“You can only stare at a computer screen, and be in the office, for so long,” Texas State head coach Dennis Franchione said following last week’s Bobcat Club KickOff Luncheon. “We’re all excited to get back on the field.”
