Free eBooks at SMPL

The San Marcos Public Library has contracted with OverDrive and joined a consortium of Central Texas libraries to offer eBooks to patrons free of charge.
Library cardholders can set up an account at www.sanmarcostx.gov/library24-7.
Choose OverDrive and from their site select the San Marcos Public Library in the dropdown menu and enter your library card number to sign up and start browsing.
OverDrive supports eBook readers Adobe Digital Editions, Kindle, Kobo, NOOK and Sony Reader Wi-Fi. Mobile eBook access is available on Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Windows phone devices. Reference librarians will be offering help sessions on Thursday mornings at 9 a.m. through the end of April. Training will take place on your own equipment, so bring your eReader, laptop and other accessories.
