Help needed in robbery case

The case of a man robbed while skateboarding through his apartment complex in the early morning hours has been picked as the latest Crime of the Week by Hays County Crime Stoppers.
It happened between 1 and 2 a.m. on Saturday, June 1 at The Lodge at Southwest, 1975 Aquarena Springs Drive.
According to police reports, the victim was skating and listening to music through ear buds when he suddenly saw a tall black man in front of him. He told police the man was wearing a dark hoodie and had a bandana over his face, holding a silver-over-black semi-automatic handgun in his right hand.
The suspect pointed the gun at the victim’s face and ordered him to the ground.
While he was face down, a second suspect also believed to be black took his ear buds, iPhone and wallet, as the one with the gun told him not to move or he would “blast” him.
Both then fled the scene without the victims seeing where they went or if they got into a vehicle.
Hays County Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $1,000 cash for information in the case. Callers do not have to identify themselves nor testify in court.
Crime Stoppers has methods of delivery assuring the anonymity of any tipster.
Information can be submitted over the phone (800) 324-TIPS) or electronically using the free “TipSubmit” app from a smart phone.
