On the hunt: Crystal River Inn owners looking to retire after 30 years

As Sarah Dillon grew up in the Crystal River Inn, she always told her parents they couldn’t sell the place until after she got married in it. Sarah was born on the same day, Feb. 14, 1983, that Cathy and Mike Dillon began renovating their new property on 326 W. Hopkins.
The couple had moved from Houston and started looking for a smaller town to live in because they didn’t want to raise a child in the big city. The Dillons had spent many weekends canoeing on the San Marcos and the other crystal-clear rivers of Central Texas and knew they wanted to live in the Hill Country.
