SMPD seeking help on case
The San Marcos Police Department is looking to the public for help with an aggravated assault that happened in late April.
Between 3:45 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Saturday April 20, a Hispanic male described as 6 feet tall, weighing about 210 with a muscular build, stabbed the victim in
the area of Sessoms Drive and Aquarena Springs Drive during an altercation. After leaving the scene, the suspect returned as the victim lay on the sidewalk.
Driving a 60s or 70s beige “muscle car,” the suspect drove up on the sidewalk, ran over the victim causing serious injuries and left the scene.
So far, no tips or witness have come forward, and the police have few leads.
