Wimberley art galleries to open their doors this Saturday
Nine galleries will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9 with free wine, food, demonstrations and lots of art. Many of the galleries will have a theme specifically chosen for the Trail event.
Moon Dance Arts will showcase their new collection of rose gold and sterling silver jewelry which is perfect for a Valentine’s Day gift.
Bent Tree Gallery invites you to join them for “Chocolates and Champagne” as a tribute to St. Valentine.
The Gallery on the Square will be featuring works by two new incredible artists: local photographer Rodney Bursiel and internationally collected surrealist painter and sculptor Gil Bruvel.
Fe29 Art Lab offers guided tours of their workshops and galleries with new sculptures by Croix Williamson and the first work from talented painter/ mixed media artist Benedict Olorunnisomo from Nigeria. Benedict has been chosen as the artist to launch Fe29's INTER-Art initiative to help talented artists from developing countries.
Wimberley Fine Arts Center is featuring “Food as Art” including the incredibly beautiful and tasty chocolates from Gillen’s Candies in Blanco. Various products will be on sale. The artists will also do their best to come up with artful appetizers for everyone to enjoy.
