Just as predicted in the musical “Annie,” the sun will come out tomorrow – even in San Marcos.
And just in time for Pet Fest 2009.
So grab Fido, Fifi or Tex and head on down to San Marcos Plaza Park to celebrate pets large and small.
The annual event is always fun and it gives residents a chance to show support for the fine efforts of Pet Prevent a Litter (PALS) of Central Texas.
Saturday’s celebration runs from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and includes a walk/run at 8 a.m., the blessing of the animals to kick off the festivities, performances by television’s Circus Chicken Dog, a chance to see the San Marcos Police K-9 unit as well as face painting, a moon jump, train rides, etc.
