EmilyAnn presents ‘Beauty and the Beast’

Treat yourself to a classic this summer. The EmilyAnn Theatre & Gardens' production of Disney's “Beauty and the Beast” is currently running, now through July 5 on Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:15 p.m. Directed by the EmilyAnn’s Artistic Director Bridget Farias and choreographed by Melissa May Moncus, this beloved fairy tale is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
The story follows Belle, a girl who is dissatisfied with life in a small provincial town and must constantly fend off the misplaced affections of conceited Gaston. A wrong turn taken by Belle's father, Maurice, causes her to meet the Beast, a prince who was placed under a spell because he could not love. What results is a magical tale of love and redemption. This beautiful production will thrill audiences of all ages.  
The EmilyAnn is located at 1101 FM2325 in Wimberley. Beauty and the Beast will be performed on the outdoor Patti S. Harrison Main Stage. Chairs with cushions are provided or bring your own blanket for up-front seating. Hot dogs, popcorn, candy, water and soft drinks are available for sale at performances.
