A special barbecue fundraiser will be held Saturday for five-year-old Natalie, who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Co-sponsored by the Kyle ISD Nutrition program and Central Texas Medical Center Hospice Care, the event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gregg Clark Park in Kyle. For $6, attendees will receive a chopped beef sandwich plate with chips, or a barbecue chicken and sausage link plate with rice and beans. All the proceeds will go to benefit Natalie and her treatments.
“It’s hard for us to go through this, Natalie is the first of our family to be diagnosed with cancer,” said Antonia Harmon, Natalie’s aunt and an employee of CTMC Hospice Care. “We’re trying to stick together and be as supportive as we can to my sister and to Natalie.”
Natalie resides in Kyle with her parents and sisters. She enjoys coloring, Dora and Princess Cartoons, and the color red.
