Luling Foundation Field Day set for May 15

The annual Luling Foundation Field Day, will be held Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 523 South Mulberry Avenue in Luling.
This event is free and open to the public.
Morning activities will include registration, viewing of exhibits, a farm tour, and programs on Livestock Handling Facilities & Design, Farm Equipment Safety, Laws of the Land & Highway, and Web Soil Survey. Scholarship presentations are at noon followed by a complimentary meal. The Luling Foundation agricultural scholarships will be presented, as well as a Grainger Weston Ag Scholarship and the healthcare scholarships.
Afternoon demonstrations will focus on Farming & Ranching Under the Texas Sun, Controlling Costs, and Direct Marketing of Specialty Crops. Equipment dealers will have implements on hand for viewing and demonstration throughout the day along with various other related exhibits.
