Marital problems, hilarious mishaps in Holiday farce

From staff reports

Lockhart The Gaslight-Baker Theatre will present the yuletide farce, “Sorry Wrong Chimney” Dec. 11 - 20 at the Gaslight Baker Theatre in Lockhart.

The show, directed by David Schneider, takes place in the New York City apartment of a newly married couple, David (Billy Alexander) and Samantha (Ashley Vogel) Tuttle. It is 10 days before Christmas and David has been spending every evening supposedly working but his wife is growing frustrated and suspicious with each evening she is alone. Her imagination runs wild, creating problems and hilarious misunderstandings.

Joining in the newlyweds marital misadventures are their neighbors, Bill Weldon (David Young) and his detective style wife Natalie (Esther Williams). Bill is a psychiatrist who loves to hypnotize people.

The play will run Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. with matinee performances at 2 p.m. Dec. 13 and 20. The theatre is located at 216 S. Main in Lockhart. For more information visit www.gaslightbakertheatre.org or call 376-5653.
