Harry Potter’s flying Ford to make a stop in San Marcos

The infamous flying Ford Anglia featured in the movie "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" will be on display at the San Marcos Starplex Movie Theater on Friday, July 17 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, July 18 from 11 a.m. to - 8 p.m.

Visitors will have the opportunity to sit in the car and have their picture taken for $5.

Proceeds will benefit the San Marcos High School Rattler Band and CTMC Hospice Care, a non-profit agency caring for terminally ill patients. Enter a chance to win the Harry Potter paperback boxed set including all seven books.

This drawing is courtesy of Hastings Book Store in San Marcos. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5. Winner does not need to be present to win. For more information, call 393-9995.
