The second annual San Marcos Art on the Square event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. April 26 on the Hays County Courthouse lawn.
Sponsored by the San Marcos Area Arts Council and Dormous Fantabulous, the purpose of Art on the Square is to provide a venue for local artists to exhibit and sell their work, and to foster growing public awareness of the area's creative community. Local businesses will also be participating by opening their doors to exhibit even more art hanging in their spaces.
The event will coincide with the Just for Fun Parade, set for 9 a.m., and the College Democrats barbecue and rally.
