‘Woman of the Year’
Murdock honored by Phi Beta Kappa
Pat Murdock was recently named the Woman of the Year by the local chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa service sorority. She was honored at the group’s Founder’s Day Ceremony. An employee at Texas State University for more than 40 years, Murdock has served as president, LBJ Museum of San Marcos Board of Directors; president American Legion Auxiliary Unit 144; president elect, Friends of the San Marcos Cemetery; board member of the San Marcos League of Women Voters; and Retired Faculty and Staff Association Advisory Committee.
