San Marcos — The San Marcos Public Library invites everyone to a free concert on Tuesday featuring O’Malarkey! at 7 p.m.
O’Malarkey! plays traditional Irish music including jigs, reels and hornpipes with the occasional rollicking sing-along song.
The band consists of Gene Milligan on guitar and vocals, Virginia Davis plays fiddle, Marissa Harris on bodhran and vocals, Terrie Cooper is a vocalist and percussionist, and Sean McMains plays bass and penny whistle.
The library offers a one hour concert each month in a family-friendly, non-smoking environment. Call the library at 393-8200 for more information.
O’Malarkey is also performing on March 13 at 7 p.m. for a St. Patrick's Concert and Potluck Supper at Pioneer Town in Wimberley. Reservations are needed; bring a covered dish and $5.00. E-mail vedavis33@yahoo.com for reservations.
On Wednesday, March 17, O’Malarkey! will be playing for the Irish Dinner at Linda’s Fine Foods in Wimberley. Call 512-847-5464 for more information.
