Austin — Thirteen members of the Moon-McGehee Chapter of The Daughters of The Republic of Texas traveled to Austin recently to visit The Texas General Land Office Archives and Research Center and Map Vault. The Archives and Records division provides public access to all records stored within the agency's collection. Among these resources are records relating to the earliest settlement of Texas by Spain and Mexico.
