The Gruene Orchid Society of New Braunfels will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 7 in the large meeting room, east wing, of the Hill Country Specialty Hospital in New Braunfels.
Barry Jones, of The Orchid Outlet in Ohio, will be speaking about dendrobiums. Society members are asked to bring their blooming orchids for display and discussion. Refreshments will be served.
The group meets the first Tuesday of each month. Visitors and new members are welcome. Anyone having an interest in the culture and beauty of orchids is encouraged to attend. Information about orchids and the Gruene Orchid Society is available on the Internet at www.grueneorchidsociety.org.
