Mr. Rolando Gonzalez and Ms. Martha Fraga of Garden City are proud to announce the marriage of their daughter, Lucy Gonzalez, to Jon David Perez, son of the late David Perez and Ms. Sylvia Rodriguez of San Marcos.
The bride graduated from Glasscock County High School in 2001 and then went on to graduate from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2004. In 2009, she graduated from the American College of Business with a designation as a Charter Financial Consultant. She currently works for State Farm in San Antonio.
The groom graduated from San Marcos High School in 2000. He attended Texas State University-San Marcos with double bachelor’s degrees in Computer Information Systems and Business Management in 2005.
While at Texas State, he obtained Latin American Business and Fellows Exporting certifications. He currently works as store director for Hugo Boss in San Marcos.
Lucy is the granddaughter of Ms. Luxiola Fraga and the late Porfirio Fraga of Zaragosa, Coahuila and Ms. Amalia Gonzalez and the late Donato Gonzalez of Remolino, Coahuila. Jon David is the grandson of Ms. Virginia Rodriguez and the late Dario Rodriguez Sr. of San Marcos and Ms. Isabel Perez and the late Domingo Perez Sr. of San Marcos.
The couple married on the beach in Cozumel, Mexico on Oct. 24, 2009. They will have a wedding celebration for family and friends in San Marcos. The couple plans on residing in San Marcos.
