San Marcos native offering thanks to HAAM

Rikki Hardy, a San Marcos native and current University of Texas student, is organizing a Forget-the-Turkey-Support-HAAM benefit concert to thank the four-year-old organization for providing affordable healthcare services to musicians.

The event will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at One2One at Fifth and Brazos in Austin.

Hardy, a communications major who will graduate in December, says she loves live music, so coordinating a benefit for Health Alliance for Austin Musicians was an easy choice for her event-planning class project. Performing on the night will be Vallejo, Arielle Nicole, Derrick Davis Band, Bar Crow, Mark McKinney, The Will Evans Project, Ryan Harkrider, Much Love and Dahebegebees.

HAAM member musicians have access to medical, dental and mental healthcare services provided by Seton Family of Hospitals, St. David’s Dental Program and the SIMS Foundation. For more information about the program visit www.myhaam.org.
