With hundreds of local families unable to provide a Thanksgiving meal, the Hays County Food Bank has requested assistance through its annual program “Turkeys Tackling Hunger.” The District Community Supervision & Corrections Department, covering Caldwell, Comal and Hays counties has stepped up to the plate. Community Supervision Officers from the district have donated enough to provide a traditional Thanksgiving meal for three families.
