St. Stephen’s takes ‘Best of Show’ at Trail of Lights contest
Wimberley — A wide portion of the Wimberley community was represented when businesses, individuals and churches came together for the 12th annual Trail of Lights Display at the EmilyAnn Theatre.
Taking home “Best of Show” honors this year was St. Stephen’s Church, with the local business Fancy Feathers winning the “Most Creative” prize.
More than 100 groups volunteer to decorate holiday displays along the seven acres, which will remain up for visitors through New Year’s Day. The trail is open Sunday through Thursday from dusk until 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from dusk until 10 p.m. The walking trail leads visitors through a decorated wonderland with a yule log burning nightly as weather permits.
