San Marcos — Members of the San Marcos Public Library Board celebrate as the library collection has grown to more than150,000 volumes. Board members Donna Swinney, Mike Hennessey, Linda Coker and Tug Wilson look over the Encyclopedia of Seashells published by Texas A&M Press, the 150,000th book in the library. When the current library facility opened in January 1994, the collection numbered 82,000 volumes.
