A new Peer Support Group for teens is being offered beginning 5 p.m. June 21 at the Scheib Mental Health Clinic, 1200 N. Bishop.
“This is a new group the local NAMI Support Group is forming with Scheib to help the many, many teen age children in SM/Hays County who suffer from one form or another of Mental Illness,” Ed Kuny, coordinator of the local NAMI Group, said.
Kuny said the group is a great opportunity for local teens to talk about their issues with kids who have issues just like their’s. Refreshments will be provided at the meeting.
