Two awards were announced during the recital; Ceilidh Welsh won an excellent rating and ribbon for her performance of carols at the Hymn Festival sponsored by Austin District Music Teachers Association and Sabrina Zheng earned a score of 99 on a 12th grade statewide music theory test given by the Texas Music Teachers Association.
