'The Outsiders' at the Price Center

“The Outsiders” is a three-weekend production by Lee Collee’s Black Diamond Cabaret. It is entering its second weekend tonight and Saturday at the Price Center for 7:30 p.m. performances. The music of Art Squared: Trio of head-turning talent playing downtown San Marcos this Saturday

Gregg Andrews, formerly a history professor and labor historian at Texas State University, is also known as Doctor G., the lead singer and songwriter with local band, The Mudcats. His songs, a mixture of folk, blues and Southern rock, reflect his concerns with the poor, social justice, the working class and the struggle for dignity and respect in the face of hardship. Doctor G. and the Mudcats perform at Cheatham Street Warehouse, Kent Black’s Barbecue and other local venues. Doctor G.

Teeming with arts and crafts, children’s games, musical entertainment and a variety of food, First Lutheran Church’s Annual Fall Festival gets underway this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 130 W.
