Rose deserves to continue his effective service

Editor,

In this tough economy, small businesses continue to be the backbone of our economic growth in Texas and right here in San Marcos.

Encouraging job growth along the corridor while protecting our natural resources in the Hill Country will have positive lasting impacts for San Marcos.

Leaders like Patrick Rose continue to work to create the jobs of our future.

As a small business owner I’m proud to endorse Patrick Rose in his re-election campaign.

Small business owners like myself benefited when Rep. Rose authored HB 394, requiring small business to be considered for the Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) for State Grants.  TEF funds have been successful in expanding business and jobs by increasing capital investment within the state.  TEF grants have always benefited larger businesses, and thanks to Rep. Rose small businesses now have the potential to be eligible for these State Grant dollars.

For our local economy to grow we need leaders in Austin who understand the needs of small business owners.

Please help re-elect Rep. Rose by voting early  through Feb. 26 or Election Day March 2.
