President needs our constructive ideas, support

Editor,

Thank you for printing Ollie Giles letter of Oct 25.

President Obama can use all the support, encouragement and prayers he can get with the problems facing him on a daily basis.

He is not a perfect president, and he himself even "warned us" in his acceptance speech that he would make mistakes in the future.

It just seems sad that there are so many good people who put so much time and energy into being negative towards the president. They could hopefully use that same energy in finding solutions and providing encouragement instead.

Can we really have expected President Obama to have worked any harder than he has in these past nine months?

I for one, am grateful to him  for the example and attitude which he has given us and the entire world since he has taken office.

Nevertheless, he still needs our prayers, support, and constructive criticism on a daily basis. With that attitude -  we all win.
