River cleanup is Saturday

San Marcos — The public is invited to join the 27th Annual San Marcos River Clean Up on Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to noon at the City Park Recreation Hall/ Lions Club Tube Rental.

Snorkelers, swimmers, canoeists and bank walkers are invited to join in the event to keep the popular spring-fed river clean.

Breakfast tacos in the morning and lunch at noon will be served by LULAC 4876. The event is sponsored by the City Parks & Recreation Department and the Lion's Club.
