— Police say the burglary early Wednesday of a T-shirt and sports accessory shop at Tanger Outlet appears to have been a “smash and grab” crime.
According to San Marcos Police Sergeant Fred Wisener, an alarm sounded at Ecko Unlimited at 4:43 a.m. Wednesday.
When officers reached the scene they found the business’ front door had been smashed and a large rock inside the store that was probably used to break the glass.
Preliminary information is that the only things stolen were T-shirts.
