Sergeant Juan L. Obregon, Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion (Assault), 25th Aviation Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, is serving his second Iraq tour in five years.
Sgt. Obregon, a native of Kyle, is the son of Juan and Alicia Obregon of Kyle. His wife Bernadette and dog Kikou currently reside in Mililuni, Hawaii.
Obregon is a graduate of Jack C. Hays High School, in Buda. As a combat medic, he is currently stationed at Contingency Operating Base Speicher, near Tikrit, Iraq, where he has served seven months as part of a personnel recovery team.
Obregon and his team “Team Arch Angel” stand ready to assist in any personnel recovery mission within the United States Division-North.
A mission can range anywhere from recovering isolated personnel to recovering personnel from a downed aircraft.
