Kyle has a new director of planning.
City Manager Tom Mattis has announced the selection of Shira Rodgers.
Rodger’s previous experience includes serving as Development Planner for Cedar Park.
Her duties in Kyle will include working closely with residents and community groups, preparing updates to the city’s Comprehensive Plan and enhancing customer services during the permit review period.
As planning director, Rodgers will manage both long-range and short-range planning functions, including reviewing the progress of existing projects and participating in the planning of future projects as appropriate.
“I admire Kyle’s vision for its future and the city’s commitment to preserving the best features of its past,” explained Rodgers.
