Motorcycle, pickup collide
San Marcos — A 25-year-old Seguin man was airlifted to Austin’s University Medical Center at Brackenridge Tuesday afternoon after his motorcycle hit the rear of a pickup on Hwy. 123.
It happened at 2:55 p.m. where the highway meets Clovis Barker Road, very near the new Bowie Elementary School.
Accident reports say 58-year-old Celia Baker of San Marcos was inbound on Hwy. 123 and stopped in the left lane of traffic waiting to turn left onto Clovis Barker when the motorcycle ridden by William Farris crashed into its rear.
The force of the impact threw Farris into the bed of the pickup truck.
The accident remains under investigation.
