Hays Indictments

San Marcos — The following individuals were indicted by the Hays County Grand Jury earlier this month.

• Ambrais Cecilia Nedd, 21, of 1740 Ranch Road 12: Abandoning a child, occurred Aug. 28.

• Zachary Vaughn Baird, 21, of 707 W. Thompson, Temple: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence, two counts, occurred Sept. 5.

• Denis Lee Coleman, 45, of 1000 S. LBJ: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence, occurred Aug. 11.

Grand jury indictments are not findings of guilt. Rather, they reflect the opinion of jurors that there is sufficient evidence in each case to warrant trial.
